Angeline “Angie” Arabia Carpino

Angeline Arabia Carpino, 99, of Arma, Kansas died 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at the Arma Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arma, Kansas.

Mrs. Carpino was born Aug. 12, 1925, at Camp 50 the daughter of Frank and Katie Wadino Arabia. Angie attended Polk Grade School in Camp 50 and later graduated from Arma High School in the Class of 1942. She worked for four years in Girard, Kansas at the Little Blue Book. She was a homemaker, enjoyed her flower garden, sewing, and crocheting. She married Tony Carpino on Jan. 25, 1947, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, Kansas. Mr. Carpino preceded her in death June 2010. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, the Arma American Legion Auxiliary, and St. Ann’s Altar Society. Angie had a daughter, Linda Carpino in June 1949. She preceded her in death Nov. 17, 2022. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony, her daughter Linda, three sisters, Edith Bualle, Mary Brod, and Ann Capone, two brothers, Mike and Tom Arabia, and a half-brother, John Arabia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, Kansas with Father Daniel Vacca as the Celebrant. Rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at the Bedene Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Arma Recreation Baseball Fields Updates.
