The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the City of Galena public water supply system located in Cherokee County. more
After eight years of saving and applying for grants, the board of trustees of Miners Hall Museum announced Friday they had received enough money to relocate a historic mining machine, a Page 618 Walking Dragline, to the northeast corner of highways US-69 and K-47, also known as Ginardi’s corner, just south of the museum.   more
