Roberta C. Stewart, 84, of Frontenac, Kansas, formerly of Mulberry, died at 5:07 a.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Homestead of Girard at Girard, Kansas.

Mrs. Stewart was born Dec. 20, 1940, at Mulberry, Kansas, the daughter of Miles and Thelma Thompson. Roberta was raised in Mulberry and graduated from Mulberry High School in the Class of 1958. She worked for Walmart for 15 years. She had been a resident of Mulberry most of her life. She married Charles L. Stewart on March 18, 1959, in Miami, Oklahoma. Mr. Stewart preceded her in death. She was a former member of the Mulberry Methodist Church. Survivors include four sons, Pete Stewart of Arma, Tim Steward of Rea, Missouri, Robbie Stewart of Paola, Kansas and Steven Stewart of Mulberry, a daughter, Rhonda Stewart of Farlington, two sisters, Sharon Scoby of Walnut and Melissa Schull of Walker, Missouri, three brothers, Sam Neil of Arma, Miles Neil Jr. of Walker, Missouri, and Darrell Neil of Mulberry, nineteen grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, daughter, Cherri Ryan, a sister, Debra Neil, and three brothers, Mark, Kevin, and Randy Neil. 

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Rosebank Cemetery at Mulberry, Kansas with the Rev. James Sukraw officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma prior to the graveside service. The family suggests memorials to the Mirza Transportation Fund or the Mulberry Funeral Dinner Fund. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E.
