Behind four golfers in the top-10, Frontenac won the 18-hole Baxter Springs Invitational on Monday by 20 strokes with a four-man team score of 358 on the par-72 Baxter Springs Golf & Country Club.
Jericho Compton tied for fifth at 15-over-par 87, Bryce Hill finished seventh at 89, Ace Varsolona tied for eighth at 90 and Jacob Kyser finished 10th at 92.
The Raiders won their home tournament last Tuesday at the Four Oaks Golf Course.
Girard and St. Mary’s Colgan placed second and third at 378 and 384, respectively, with each school having a pair of top-10 individual finishers.
Girard’s Harrison Burke finished second at 85 and Ayden Crozier fifth at 87, while Colgan’s Jamie Hamilton placed third at 86 and Grant Hite eighth at 90.
Baxter Springs freshman Cole Parrish won medalist honors on his home course with a 3-over 75, shooting 34 on the front and 41 on the back nine. In three high school varsity tournaments, Parrish has won twice and finished second in his first tournament.
Columbus senior Kanyen Smith tied for third at 86.
