With 571 miles covered and 1,431 Gorillas met, Pittsburg State University President Dan Shipp rode his bike into Colby, Kansas Wednesday evening for another planned gathering. Today he will head to Goodland, Kansas and and Friday he will conclude his journey at the Colorado state line. Shipp set off on his 12-day, 800-mile bicycle ride Monday, May 15 with the intention of raising scholarship money for PSU students. As of presstime Wednesday, pledges had reached $4.4 million.
