Pittsburg Police, Fire Department and Crawford County EMS recovered a body Wednesday morning inside the locked fence surrounding a cell tower at 107 E. 1st Street.
According to a release from the Police Department, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person inside the fenced area at 7:47 a.m. When officers arrived, they determined that the subject was deceased.
According to the release, the initial investigation did not reveal any suspicion of foul play.
No other information, including the subject’s identity, was available on Wednesday and the investigation of the incident is ongoing.
