Joan Ann Breneman, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2025, at home.
Joan was born on Nov. 8, 1949, in Pittsburg, KS, the youngest daughter of Jack and Janet Cremer.
Joan was a social worker before becoming a full-time mom for her two sons, Mike and Jim. Later she became a partner and Office Manager for Breneman Concrete & Materials with her husband Steve.
Joan was an active member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization and the Auxiliary for VFW Post 6401.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Steven, her son Michael, and her parents Jack and Janet.
She is survived by her son Jim, her granddaughter Sienna, her sister Judy, and brother Jim.
In lieu of a traditional memorial service the family will hold a celebration of life from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 at Alden-Harrington Family Event Center next to Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St, Bonner Springs, KS. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Steven and son Michael at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS at a later date.
