Helen V. Ansart, 83, of Arma, Kansas died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Girard Medical Center in Girard, Kansas.
Mrs. Ansart was born on March 16, 1941, in Downey, California. Helen was a receptionist and also worked in accounts payable for NPC International in Pittsburg and later for Flinn Corporation. She was raised in Downey, California. She married Paul A. Ansart on October 26, 1963, in Burbank, California. Mr. Ansart preceded her in death on November 20, 2002.
She attended both Open Door Church in Arcadia and Pittsburg.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Mia Machelle Ansart of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Magen Marie Ansart of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kevin Ansart, and a brother, William Jeffcoat.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas with Pastor Roy Widmar officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bedene Chapel prior to the funeral service. The family suggests memorials to the Open Door Church in Arcadia.
