Morgan Kinsey, left, and Ashlee Wilber paint rocks to be placed in Pittsburg State University’s new Native Garden. The garden, which fills two large planters on the west side of Heckert-Wells Hall, has been planted with nine species of plants native to the region. Kinsey and Wilber were joined by a number of staff, Tuesday, in celebration of Earth Day. Jordan Hayworth, president of Students for Sustainability, said her organization will be responsible for maintaining the garden on a regular basis
