Chamber Foundation to host Golf Classic

PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg Area Chamber Foundation will host its annual Golf Classic on Friday, June 2 with a morning shotgun at 8:30 a.m. and afternoon shotgun at 1:30 p.m. The Golf Classic will be held at Crestwood Country Club and is a member and guest event that will feature an 18-hole 4 man scramble.

An Evergy bucket truck ball drop will take place at 1 p.m. The ball that lands in the hole first or closest to the hole will win half of the earnings. Pre-numbered golf balls will be sold for $20. A ball may be purchased at the chamber or at the tournament before 12:45 p.m. It is not required to be affiliated with a registered team to participate in ball drop.

This annual fundraiser allows the Chamber Foundation to continue educational programs such as Leadership Crawford County, Leadership High, and Youth Leadership.
