Audry Miller

Audry Nadine Miller, 90, of Pittsburg, KS died at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS following an illness.

Audry was born October 31, 1933, in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Jack and Juanita (Hurt) Hallam. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of West Mineral High School. She later attended Pittsburg State University and Labette Community College.

On July 25, 1954, Audry married Cleo Edward Miller in West Mineral, KS; he preceded her in death on December 5, 2003.

Audry worked for the Parsons Ammunition Plant for 31 years retiring in 2001. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in West Mineral, KS; she served as church secretary, West Mineral Eagles Auxiliary Member, served on the Board for Big Brutus, City Council Member in West Mineral, KS, and Mayor of West Mineral, KS.

Survivors include her children, Melanie A. Patterson and husband Kevin of Pittsburg, KS, and Monty Craig Miller and Karen Jameson of Cherokee, KS; nephews, Larry, Terry, and Travis Hallam; grandchildren, Wesley Hamblin and wife Nichole, Nathan Hamblin and wife Ashleigh, Kyle Miller, and Chole' Stuck and husband Casey; four great-grand-daughters and one great-grandson.

Audry was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Arthur Hallam.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS, with Pastor Bob Banks officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Via Christi Village Assisted Living.
