PITTSBURG, Kan. – Attendees at the Inaugural Kelce College of Business Intern & Host Employer Reception had a memorable Monday afternoon at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts as a tornado warning was issued shortly before the event’s ribbon cutting.
Pittsburg State University students and faculty, community members, business owners and Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce members had to seek shelter in the building when a tornado warning was issued at 2:45 p.m. and lifted at 3:15 p.m.
