PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Pittsburg Police Department and Pittsburg Fire Department are joining forces again to grill burgers for a good cause. Badges and Burgers will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
Hungry community members can get a hamburger or cheeseburger, chips, a cookie and bottled water for $7 and all the proceeds go to the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), an organization that provides a neutral space where children can be interviewed in cases that involve allegations of child abuse.
